June 20th-21st

The drive from Jim Thorpe to JFK took about 3 hours...not too bad, I guess. The flight was ok...absolutely fantastic service from Air Berlin! Took maybe 7 1/2 hours. Both JFK and Düsseldorf airport are nice! The plane was huge!

I arrived in Düsseldorf, Germany, drove with Alina & Peter back to their house in Hattingen...explored their house and then walked to the main town. Hattingen is very cool!


We also went to the supermarket to buy a few things:

And then, I took a walk with the people that live next door...it was very nice...we talked about a bunch of stuff like the kinds of things that they like to do, what kind of movies they like to watch, and what kinds of books they like to read (Leah likes most of the stuff that I like!) =)
