July 4th

Today, I went to a Baptist church with my friend Fabian. That was fun...a lot of singing, of course.

Later, we went with some of the neighbors into the main town to the "AltStadt Fest" (Old City Festival). That was a lot of fun. There was a lot of music (a lot of jazz). We had some really amazing ice cream and just a lot of fun.




Everybody chipped in to buy me a present for 4th of July. They bought me a hoodie for Hattingen. Thank you all!


Later, we celebrated the 4th of July (only for me, of course) with an American dinner: burgers, potato salad, some rice salad, and iced tea.
