July 14th

Today, Peter and I went to the city of Bochum to visit a coal-miner's museum. That was pretty interesting. I didn't understand too much of what our tour-guide was saying, but, that doesn't matter. I always love visiting coal mines. The tour was really cool...we went into the mine (of course)...and then we went up on the tower. The view from the tower was amazing. I'm afraid of heights...but, I was okay...there was a really tall fence around it...so, I felt safer.

After that, we went into the main city and looked around some shops and ate a light lunch.
