August 7th

Today, we're still in Berlin. We went to the East Side Gallery, which is a giant remaining piece of the Berlin Wall. It was really cool.

We then saw a place called the Berliner Dom. That was absolutely huge and gorgeous!

We then saw the Brandenburg Gate, which is what I REALLY wanted to see! It was awesome!

We then saw the "Reichstag", which is really cool. We didn't get to go inside though, the line was way too long.

We then visited Alina's street, the "Strasse des 17. Juni" (June 17th is Alina's birthday, and that's the name of a street in Berlin.

We also went to eat at a really good Italian Restaurant. We had really good pizza.

We then saw a tribute to the Jewish people that died in the Holocaust. It was actually really cool, and really sad...

We then went to get some ice cream, and, inside the building, we saw a line that showed where the Berlin Wall used to be. It's kind of cool because it went right through the building (the building wasn't there at the time, of course). Also, outside, you can always tell where the Wall was because the stones are always going the opposite way of the ones around them.

We then went back to the Brandenburg Gate at night. It was even more beautiful at night! I loved it!

We also saw the Reichstag again at night. That was really pretty!

We then went to a bar and had some Irish Beer.

Well, that was it for today. A lot of fun, I really like Berlin! So, tomorrow, some more of Berlin and then off to Hamburg!
